Issues With Text Messages

A BetterRoaming Apple Watch plan can only be used in the country or region chosen when you buy the plan. Sending or receiving texts to & from international or premium-rate numbers is not currently available with our plans. We also currently don’t support MMS messages. 

 

Unable to send text messages (SMS) on your watch? 

  1. Restart the watch and make sure you have a stable mobile signal before sending a text message 

  2. Use the international format by replacing the 0 at the start of the number with a (+) plus sign, followed by the country code & the rest of the numbers. For example, for a UK number starting 01224, you would instead type +44 1224, followed by the rest of the number

We highly recommend you avoid unpairing, resetting or removing cellular service from your watch if you are experiencing service issues. This may lead to accidental deletion of your eSIM. For further questions, please contact us directly through the button below.
